Environmental Testing

Environmental Testing
Many materials and electronic devices are sensitive to humidity and moisture, making them susceptible to corrosion and decay. Adding temperature and/or pressure accelerates the deterioration and shortens testing time. By doing so, we are then able to predict the lifetime of the materials under test. Electrical signals and electrical measurements can be taken while the subjected devices are in the environmental chambers to evaluate the effect of the stress on overall circuit performance

Reliability testing to the following standards, and others, is performed:
MIL-STD-883
MIL-STD-750
J-STD-020D Moisture-Reflow Sensitivity Classification
JESD22-A101 Steady State THB
JESD22-A102 Autoclave
JESD22-A103 HTS
JESD22-A108 Bias Life
JESD22-A110 HAST
JESD22-A113 Preconditioning
JESD22-A118 Unbiased HAST
